I am available for knitting and sewing alterations, mending, commissions, and tutoring. I can work on most types of clothing, accessories, and soft furnishings.
I am based in Machynlleth, Wales. I can teach at my home, at Machspace, or at your home if you are within walking distance. I am open to jobs of any size - large or small.

Mending and repairs
I can darn knitted items like jumpers, hats, scarves, and socks. There are several types of darning which give different results. I will help you choose the best type of mend to suit your needs depending on how you want it to look, how strong it needs to be, and the way the item was originally knitted.
I can also repair sewn garments and accessories like trousers, shirts, jackets, and bags. I will help you decide which type of patching or seaming will work best and how you want it to look.
Alterations, adjustments, and customisation
For simple alterations like re-hemming trousers and shortening curtains, you can give me the exact measurements and I can get to work straight away.
If you need more complicated adjustments or customisation, we can meet up first to measure, pin, and plan how to get the result you're looking for.
Commissions
I am open to knitting and sewing commissions of any size - ranging from following a specific pattern using your chosen materials, to designing and constructing whole garments, furnishings, or sets.
Tutoring and lessons
I am available to teach knitting and sewing skills in 1:1 lessons.
